The Early Years CD

The first two years of the Shoes culminated in the recording of an 11 track CD featuring our favourite songs up until that point. This was when the shoes was still a 4 piece band featuring, at various times, Ally, Pete, Joe as well as Carolyn and Olly. All these songs feature Ally on Guitar and Joe on bass, except 2:1, After the Party and Lern How To Spel, on which Pete plays bass. These songs were recorded properly, which was a pain in the arse and taught us a valuable lesson: don't do things properly.  Mixing by Micro Studios.

Los primeros dos años de los Shoes dieron lugar este CD de 11 temas. El grupo todavia era de 4 personas y, depende del momento, incluyo Ally, Pete, Joe, Carolyn y Olly. Ally toca la guitarra en todos los temas, con Joe tocando el bajo excepto en 2:1, After the Party y Lern How To Spel en las que tocaba Pete. Estas canciones fueron grabadas correctamente, con los instrumentos por separado. Nunca más.
